Hello! I am going to be staying at the Port Orleans Riverside very soon and have an 8am breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. What is my best transportation option to make it to Magic Kingdom on time?

Hi Gina! Congratulations on getting a reservation for one of the most popular Disney Dining experiences at the Walt Disney World Resort! Breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table is the perfect way to begin your Disney Day!

To get to your reservation, you’ll need to travel from Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside to Magic Kingdom Park. Complimentary bus transportation begins 45 minutes prior to theme park opening. You mentioned you’re visiting “soon.” Magic Kingdom Park opens for Early Theme Park Entry at 8:30 most mornings in the near future. That means transportation will begin running around 7:45 (probably a little earlier based upon experience).

I don’t want there to be any chance you miss your 8:00 AM reservation at such an amazing restaurant. While I normally recommend complimentary Disney bus transportation, given your early reservation, I suggest booking Minnie Van service through the Lyft app. There is a charge associated with Minnie Van service, but it will get you to your reservation in time! When using the Lyft app in Walt Disney World be sure to scroll to "Select Minnie Van" when selecting your vehicle type. You'll want to select that service rather than the regular Lyft service. Minnie Van service will reduce the need for additional travel time associated with regular Lyft service.

Always allow yourself plenty of travel time when getting to your Disney Dining reservations! I recommend booking your pick-up for 6:45.

When arriving at Magic Kingdom Park, show your dining reservation to any of the Cast Members working at the entrance to the park. They will direct you to the appropriate entrance for your dining reservation. Also, be sure to have your theme park admission. Both your reservation and theme park admission will be needed to enter the park early.

I hope you enjoy your royal dining experience at Cinderella’s Royal Table! Be sure to have your camera ready for all of your royal encounters!

    Dreams do come true!
