Hi, Laura! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help in planning your upcoming trip! My kids ADORE yogurt and bananas, so you are in good company. I make a regular habit of storing these items in our Resort room refrigerator for when the snackies hit.
The Riverside Mill Food Court has a fantastic selection of yogurt, whole fruit and other “storable” breakfast items. On your first morning at
Port Orleans Riverside, you can pick up a few extra items upon checkout and stick them in your room fridge. I like the Mickey-clad milk boxes, because they store so well for our entire trip. You can ask for whole milk, if you prefer that for your kids over the low-fat option. I often request it from a Cast Member for our baby girl.
Another great option for groceries is to order from Garden Grocer, found at GardenGrocer.com, which has a Walt Disney World Resort delivery option, though I rarely use it because I prefer the quick pick-up option from the Food Court. If you need more than yogurt and milk, it’s a fantastic option for snack bars, bottled water and more.
When you’re in Magic Kingdom, you’ll find a wide selection of what you’re asking for in Liberty Square. After a spin on Haunted Mansion or a rainy-day viewing of the Hall of Presidents, our family likes to stop by the
Liberty Square Market, which is an open-air pavilion offering yogurts, whole fruits, veggies and dip, bottled drinks and the ever-popular turkey leg, if you need a protein snack! I hope your bellies are full at the end of your magical vacation, please let me know if I can be of more help! ~Lindsey P.
