We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside 5th Sleeper Woods View Room. Do all of the pull down beds have an alligator on them.

    Welcome to planDisney, Alyssa!

Thanks for stopping by as you count down to your bayou adventure to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Let's talk about what to expect from your room here.

All 5th Sleeper rooms at your resort are located in the Alligator Bayou section and feature a sleeping Louis the alligator from The Princess and the Frog behind the pull-down bed. You will not find any 5th sleeper rooms at Riverside without our adorable reptile friend. I hope this is the news you wanted to hear!

My kids and I love Louis and his jazzy beats, but if you have little ones in your party who are nervous about a gator in their bed, encourage them to focus on the sparkling fireflies resting comfortably on Louis's belly as he snoozes. You can also remind your kiddos that Louis is asleep in this picture, dreaming of becoming a famous trumpet player, so he won't bother them.

If an alligator is a deal breaker for your party, the 5th sleeper rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are laid out similarly but have pull-down beds that display Mickey Mouse or scenery from The Little Mermaid.

I hope this helps you prepare for your winter escape, Alyssa. Please don't hesitate to reach out if we can assist you further. Have a happy holiday season, and before you know it, you'll be goin' down the bayou! You're almost there!
