We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside in a royal room. I was wondering what kind of coffee pot is in the room? And also, how many watts are the blow dryers?

    Hi Laura!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort! You will fall in love with the Royal Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside, adorned with intricately delicate details.

Typically, the moderate Resort hotels offer a standard 1500 watt wall-mount hair dryer. Recently, the coffee pots have been replaced with the Cuisinart 2-cup coffee makers, featuring pods. I recently used the complimentary pods and found the coffee to be on the weak side. Using less water was helpful, but I eventually ended up indulging in my store-bought Starbucks VIA packets ... all I needed to do was add hot water!

If you prefer a stronger brew, both cappuccino and espresso machines are located inside the Riverside Mill food court.

The site allears.net offers a great article on "real coffee," and will point you in the right direction for a perfect cup 'o Joe throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

Have a wonderful trip, Laura, and please feel free to visit us again!
