    Staying at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort in October Have requested a poolside room. Do the rooms have both a microwave and refrigerator in them. How far is the bus stop from the rooms and how far is the food court?

    Good afternoon, Cathy!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We are delighted to answer your questions concerning your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation in October!

    I have to tell you that my family LOVES staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside!  I wanted to let you know that each resort room has a mini-refrigerator, but rooms are not equipped with a microwave.  Now, you are allowed to use the microwave located in Riverside Mill Food Court at your convenience.

    If you are looking for a building with a pool view and close to a bus stop, I would recommend staying in either Building 24 or Building 25.  The West Depot bus stop is SO close and very convenient.  You could also stay in Building 85, as this building is very close to the East Depot Bus Stop.  I would say these buildings are approximately a five minute walk to Riverside Mill Food Court.  The GREAT thing is that this property is beautiful, so you will really enjoy your walk to the food court.
