Hello! I will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Does this resort use down pillows and comforters? If so, how do I request a down free room? I am terribly allergic.

Howdy Kathryn, and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by en route to your bayou adventure at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside Resort. I can't wait for you to experience the rustic elegance of this Louisiana-inspired haven. Take time to enjoy the tranquility of the Sassagoula River and the charms of neighboring Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter Resort. Stop by Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory for some Princess Tiana-approved beignets!

I have good news for you regarding your allergy concern. Walt Disney World Resorts use the Sobel Westex brand of linens. Their pillows are filled with 100% polyester fibers, not down feathers, and the comforters are a cotton-polyester blend. If you're still concerned, feel free to reach out to a Cast Member who can add a note to your reservation requesting a special allergy cleaning and hypoallergenic linens. Rest assured, you're in good hands during your stay in the Disney Resorts Collection!

I hope this has been helpful, Kathryn. Best wishes for an enchanting stay next month, and if there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make your visit even more memorable, don't hesitate to come see us again.

    Have a magical day,
    Betsy
