    We are staying at Port Orleans - Riverside. Do I have to pay extra to have a microwave in our room?

    Hey there Diana and welcome to planDisney!

    Rich people, poor people all got dreams. Dreams do come true in Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside. This Disney Resorts Collection hotel is definitely indicative of that old southern charm. Diana my grandmother was the best cook I've ever known and would die twice at the mention of a microwave being used in the creation of any of her Louisiana meals. It looks like this hotel is following that train of thought. You may be able to find microwaves for Guest use down at the Riverside Mill Food Court, the Quick-Service dining location. 

    Pro-tip: Speak with a Cast Member at the Front Desk upon arrival. They'll have the full scoop on whether or not one can be provided for you. Just promise that you won't attempt to make gumbo with it. That would be a most unforgivable sin and Dr. Facilier's Friends From the Other Side would definitely have something to say about it. 

    Diana, have a good time goin' down the bayou this fall. If you see me at the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, don't be afraid to say hey!
