Hi, Jodie! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am so excited to hEAR that you will be staying at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. This charming and picturesque resort hotel is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day of vacation fun. I'm sure you will enjoy all of the
benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel during your visit. In my opinion, all of the convenient forms of
transportation are one of the biggest advantages of staying on Walt Disney World Resort property.
Although
bus transportation does not run directly between resort hotels, you could take a bus from your resort hotel to any of the
theme parks. From the theme park, you could then catch a bus to any of the other resort hotels. Unfortunately though, buses begin running in the mornings approximately 45 minutes prior to park opening. Depending on what time the parks open on the date of your
dining reservation, this may not get you there early enough.
My recommendation would be to use the
Minnie Van Service to arrive at your breakfast reservation at
Disney's BoardWalk Inn on time. You can use the Lyft app on your phone to request and pay for a Minnie Van, and a Cast Member will arrive in an adorable red and white polka dot car to drive you anywhere on Walt Disney World Resort property. Each Minnie Van can hold up to six passengers and comes equipped with two car seats in case you have little Mouseketeers in your travel party. The Minnie Van Service begins running at 6:30 a.m. each morning, so it's the perfect way to get to those early breakfast reservations. A taxi or other ride-sharing service, like Lyft or Uber, could also be an option for you.
See ya real soon!
Samantha
