Hi Kara,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like we may have a princess or two needing transport to dine with friends!
As soon as you arrive and get settled into your room at Port Orleans - Riverside, I suggest you speak with a cast member at the
Lobby Concierge desk. The cast members at the concierge desk have been quite helpful in assisting us with transportation to early morning breakfast reservations. We love to do pre-park opening breakfast reservations and have often used a taxi service to get to those restaurants.
I also checked with
Star Transportation, a car service provider noted on the Walt Disney World website. The representative with whom I spoke indicated that their taxis often do not come equipped with car seats or booster seats but their town cars and SUVs do. The car service is more expensive. As an alternative, you could try Uber. My fellow panelist
Lindsey P. has provided some great info on using Uber with car seats.
Remember also that there are
Car Rental Services on Walt Disney World property. Alamo® Rent A Car is one of the providers. You could potentially rent a car for one day.
Kara, I know you will have a magical time at the
Bon Voyage Adventure breakfast and you will love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside! The grounds are simply gorgeous.
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
