We will be staying at Port Orleans riverside in the next few weeks, and my husband was wanting to know if we were able to order pay per view in our room. There is an event he doesn't want to miss while we are on vacation. Thank you.

    Hi, Heidi!

The televisions in Walt Disney World resort rooms do not carry pay-per-view programming.  Guests are able to access free wi-fi from most locations on property (including your resort room) so hopefully he will be able to watch his special television event on his smart phone or tablet.

If the program he is wanting to watch is a sporting event, he might want to check with the ESPN Club at Disney's Boardwalk as they have a LOT of screens showing many different sporting events. Perhaps he would be able to watch his program there.

Wishing you a magical stay at the beautiful Port Orleans Riverside Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
