Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rose! I adore dining at different Resort restaurants during my vacation. Getting a chance to pack all those flavors and experiences in is what makes my vacation great!
It’s a Walt Disney World Resort staple piece of advice to always allow 90 minutes for travel from one place to another. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve just missed a bus, or security lines are a little longer than I had planned. If I arrive early somewhere, I can always explore the grounds, check out the playgrounds with my kids or simply window shop in the merchandise locations and add to my wish list on the
Shop Disney Parks App. You can always estimate a more real-time journey in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Simply search for your destination using the search bar and “Get Directions” from where you are. As far as your breakfast reservation goes, you won’t really have time to catch a bus to a park or intermediate destination and then again to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Your best bet (which is what my family did in June this year to get to the Bon Voyage Breakfast) is to catch and Uber, RideShare or hail a taxi for just a few dollars to get there early in the morning. If you are in need of Car Seats, you can call Uber Family (inside the same app) which has car seats for use. If you find yourself staying at a Deluxe Resort instead of Riverside, you may be able to use the new
Minnie Vans.
If you have more questions about your upcoming trip, please let me know. I’m hEAR for you! ~ Lindsey P.
