We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside later his month. Do they provide swim vests small enough for a 1 year old and if not am I allowed to bring my own? Thanks! Catherine

Hello Catherine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My family stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside when my son was a 1 year old. It quickly became one of our very favorite Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.

The Swimmin' Hole on Ol' Man Island does have complimentary life vests for Guests to use while swimming. The smallest life vest size available was a fine fit on my son, however he was a bigger than average little boy. I recommend that you bring a life vest that is comfortable for your little one of you are concerned about fit and have room in your luggage to accommodate it.

I find that it's always preferable to stick with what you know your little one will be comfortable with over risking a less-than-ideal experience. Remember that as a sister Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is open to Guests from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, which includes the child-friendly splash play area.

Be sure to enjoy some of the unique experiences activities at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside such as Surrey Bike Rides, Catch-and-Release Fishing, and the incomparable Yehaa Bob Jackson at River Roost Lounge.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
