    We'll be staying at Port Orleans Riverside June 3 - 8. I'm curious how long I should allow to get to each of the parks on the shuttle. Also, could you tell me wait time for shuttles, how often they run as well as travel time?

    Hi Mary Margaret,

    Complimentary transportation is available one hour prior to Disney Theme Park opening time up to one hour after Disney Theme Park closing time. Additionally, buses operate until 2:00 a.m. from the Downtown Disney Area. 

    To help you figure out how long it will take to get from one place to another using the complimentary transportation, I would recommend taking a look at the fantastic transportation wizard tool which is available at www.ourlaughingplace.com.

    It allows you to enter where you will be travelling to and from within Walt Disney World and then provides details on the best route(s) to take as well as giving an indication of the amount of time that the journey will take.

    I would add an extra 20 minutes onto each estimated time to allow for the time which may be spent waiting for your designated mode of transport to arrive.

    In short, I would always recommend allowing at least an hour for each journey.
