Hi, there!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Janette. I'm so excited to hear you're planning another Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You're going to love staying
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. This unique Resort hotel offers a laidback vibe and lots of Southern hospitality. It's one of my family's favorites!
Complimentary bus transportation is available to and from the theme parks and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Catching a bus is super easy! You'll find there are several conveniently located bus depots throughout the resort, so you're sure to have one that's just a short walk away from your room. When you're ready to leave for a pixie-dusted day in the theme parks, just head to the bus depot. As a bus approaches, take note of the destination listed on the bus marquee. Once you see a bus that lists your destination, hop on! When it's time to leave the theme park, you'll see a large billboard that lists the bus stop numbers for Resort hotels.
Yay for early morning breakfast reservations at Magic Kingdom Park! I recommend allowing an hour for travel time, just to be safe. Bus transportation is listed as starting one hour prior to park opening, but in my experience, I've been able to catch a bus at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside at 7:00 AM for an 8:00 AM breakfast reservation on a day that the park opened at 9:00 AM. I suggest checking in with your concierge the day prior to your breakfast reservation just to be sure you'll have available bus transportation that early in the morning. If it seems as though you won't, not to fret! Simply hail a convenient and cute
Minnie Van using the Lyft app.
Janette, if you have any other questions, please let me know!
