Port Orleans Riverside. This resort has great dining options, beautiful landscaping, and 6 swimming pools to choose from! If time allows, follow the path along the Sassagoula River to sister resort
Port Orleans French Quarter. It is about a 10-minute walk. Pop into the lobby and order some fresh made-to-order beignets. Definitely worth the walk over!
At your resort, there are 4 convenient bus stops: North, South, East, and West. Find the bus stop closest to your room. Buses run about every 20-30 minutes. Hop onboard when bus to
Disney's Animal Kingdom pulls up! Once onboard, the ride to Animal Kingdom is about 20-25 minutes. At the end of your "wild" day at Animal Kingdom, head to the resort buses and you will conveniently be dropped back off at Riverside.
While at Animal Kingdom, you will have many amazing dining options. One of my favorites is
Satu'li Canteen with their delicious bowls and cheeseburger pods. My family never misses a chance to eat here! This is a quick service location, so no reservations needed. Order at the restaurant or you may use the Mobile Order option on your
My Disney Experience app.
