Staying at Port Orleans Riverside Hotel and I heard when arriving, the customer service person can you give you letter from a princess when its your child birthday. How do I go about making sure my daughter is provided with a princess letter upon arrival.

Many Royal Greetings, Rochelle! This birthday is going to the best BEST DAY EVER! Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside is a wonderfully royal place to lay your head, but I hope you’ve got a trip to see Cinderella Castle scheduled for the big day itself!

The Princess letter you speak of may have been a bit of extra magic that someone experienced. It’s not a planned option, but I can tell you about a few extra things you might do to make your daughter’s birthday extra special! When you check in to your hotel, please ask the Front Desk for special “Birthday” and “I’m Celebrating” buttons to wear; they are complimentary for your entire party and can be personalized with a Sharpie marker with the birthday girl’s name! (Pro tip: Add a piece of clear tape over the Sharpie so it doesn’t smudge)

You can also order something special from Disney Floral and Gifts, which I call, “Disney Magic!” You can select from several pre-arranged birthday options (I ADORE my Minnie Cooler Tote my husband left for me!) or you can create your own bundle. Order a cake, flower or even balloons to enhance your in-room celebration. Something like the Bibbidi Bobbidi Balloon Bundle is perfect for a Princess Lover!

I hope you and your family have a MAGICAL trip to Walt Disney World Resort. See ya' real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
