We’re staying at Port Orleans Riverside before getting onto Disney Wish, so we booked transportation from the resort to Port Canaveral. Will we have time to grab a breakfast before the coach depart for the cruise? Or should I pack snacks?

    Hi Sidney,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us another great question about your “Land and Sea” Disney Parks vacation!

The answer to your question is unfortunately… “it depends”! Based on my experience, Ground Transportation to Port Canaveral from Disney Resorts Collection hotels, including Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, typically leaves for the port no later than 10:00 AM, though that departure time can vary somewhat based on your port arrival time for your cruise.

Because the Riverside Mill Food Court typically opens at 7:00 AM, I think that you should have plenty of time to grab something there before your motorcoach leaves for the port. I wouldn’t recommend a big table service meal that morning – you probably won’t have enough time and, besides, there will be plenty of food available to you the moment you board your Disney Cruise Line ship!

Tip: be sure to check the documentation that you’ll receive from Disney regarding your ground transportation, including departure time. If you think that you’ll be cutting it too close, you can always pick something up from the Riverside Mill’s “grab and go” section and keep it in the cooler that you’ll have in your room for the following morning.

As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
