Hi there, we are staying at Port Orleans Riverside this fall and hope to see the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue. I understand there is boat transportation from MK to FW. Where do we board? Or is there a convenient way to travel from POR? Thanks!

Hi, Krista! Last week, we were staying at Port Orleans French Quarter and we went to Hoop Dee Doo. Correction: we ROCKED Hoop Dee Doo.

Fort Wilderness is a hop, skip and a jump from Port Orleans. Rather than factor in 1-2 hours to go from Port Orleans to Magic Kingdom and then take a boat from Magic Kingdom to Fort Wilderness, we took a cab directly from Port Orleans to Fort Wilderness. It cost us a whopping $8. The price and the time savings were well worth it! After the show, Disney had several busses queued up to take us back to our resorts. There was one bus exclusively for people staying at Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter.

Have a great time and eat some cornbread for me!
