We will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside and are driving would it be more time efficiant to drive to the parks each day rather than wait on the bus?

    Hi Giovanna!

I have stayed at Port Orleans Resort - Riverside twice and I can tell you that it is an incredible and beautiful Resort. It is also very large and it has four Disney bus stops (North, South, East, and West) and it typically share the buses with Port Orleans Resort French Quarter. As much as I love Disney Transportation, I have to tell you that it will take about two hours a day total travel time to get between Port Orleans Riverside to a Park and back.  If you have a car, then your total travel time per day should be an hour or less so it is definitely more efficient to go to Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios by car. The one exception to this is the Magic Kingdom because it is actually faster to take the bus because it drops you off at the Magic Kingdom gates. So if you want to have more time in the Parks and less time spend getting to a Park, then I would recommend using a car.  If you desire to go to Downtown Disney from Port Orleans Riverside you can take the water taxi or use your car.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
