I will be staying at POrt Orleans- Riverside with my 2 dogs, and was wondering what the current 2025 vaccine requirements are for my dogs to stay there?

Hiya, Nicole! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!

It sounds like you have a PAW-some vacation in the works for you and your four-legged friends. I can’t think of a better way to ring in the new year than a trip to Walt Disney World, so let’s get you all squared away with the information you need to emBARK on your adventure at the Vacation Kingdom of the World.

I talked with a helpful Cast Member who confirmed that your dogs need to have the following vaccinations to be considered “properly vaccinated.”

    - Rabies
    - Distemper
    - Parvovirus
    - Denovirus (canine hepatitis)
    - Parainfluenza
    - Bordetella

Don’t forget, you will need to provide written proof of vaccination when you check in at Port Orleans- Riverside, or any other dog-friendly accommodations at Walt Disney World. You can find more information about the hotel’s dog policy here

There are a lot of great amenities and dining at Port Orleans - Riverside, but make sure you wander over to Port Orleans - French Quarter, which is just next door. Here you’ll find Scat Cat’s Club, home to the delicious Mickey-shaped beignets. Some people say these are the best treat in all of Walt Disney World, so it’s worth taking a walk over and doing a taste test for yourself.

Nicole, I hope this information helps and that you and your pups have a wonderful time on vacation. Don’t hesitate to come right back to planDisney if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
