We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside in December. I was wondering, how early can you board the buses to the parks? I know they run before the parks open, but I couldn't remember how many hours before. It's been 3 years since we stayed at DW.

Hello Kim!
Congratulations on choosing an incredible Walt Disney World Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside for your next Walt Disney World vacation! Typically Disney buses begin service approximately 1 hour before a park is scheduled to open on that particular day. If you get on the first Disney bus of the day at your resort, then you should be able to get to the parks well before they open for the day (for rope drop). I would recommend using the Disney buses to get to all of the four theme parks and use the boat to get to Disney Springs from Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside. I hope that your December Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
