    We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside but have character breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort at 7.20am. If the busses do not begin running until 1/2 an hour before the parks open, how do we get to Chef Mickey's?

    Hi Maureen! The buses do run earlier each morning for those families who have early dining reservations in the parks and at other resorts.  Please talk with your resort guest relations when you check in about the timing for the bus on that particular morning. They can assist you with the most current information.

    However, when families have this early of a reservation I suggest you get a cab for that one morning.  This will save abundant time as any car ride will take 20 minutes or less where a bus can take over an hour.  I find it best to let sleeping children sleep as late as possible if you want plenty of smiles on their face for the rest of the day. I have never had a taxi fare over $20 from anywhere on property and most are half that. You can request van cabs for large groups and many taxis have car seats in their trunks although by Florida law they are not required.
