We’re staying at Port Orleans Riverside and can get a boat to Disney Springs but can I then get a boat from DS to Epcot/Disney’s Beach Club Resort? If so, what time do they start in the mornings! Thanks!

    Hi Mandie!

I'm so excited to hear that you will be staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! In my opinion, this is one of the most peaceful, relaxing and magical Disney Resort hotels. My family and I stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside during a vacation a few years ago and it was such a magical visit. Be sure to visit Ol’ Man Island, the main pool at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, as it's such a fun pool for the entire family!

One of the fantastic things about Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is that it is located on the water, allowing you to use boat transportation to get to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and Disney Springs. Unfortunately, there is no boat transportation from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or Disney Springs to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios or the Disney's BoardWalk resorts. However, you can use complimentary bus transportation to get from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios.

To get to Disney's Beach Club Resort, I recommend that you travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios by bus and then transfer to a boat, which will take you to Disney's Beach Club Resort. For quicker transportation, you can always take advantage of the Minnie Van Service, which can take you directly from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside to Disney's Beach Club Resort.

Generally, you will find that bus transportation begins 45 minutes in advance of theme park opening. Water transportation hours of operation vary based on weather and water conditions. I recommend that you check with the front desk of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside during your trip for daily operating hours.
