    I will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside in August and would love a bottle of wine in my room for those (down times). Is there a place at the Resort that I can purchase this? Any chance I can order this in advance and have it waiting in my room?

    Hi Debbie! You will love Port Orleans Riverside resort at Walt Disney World. The rooms and grounds are well decorated to the theme and the location is convenient to most of the Disney parks.

    I can appreciate having down time after a day in a busy park. Port Orleans will offer that in many ways. If you would like to purchase a bottle of wine you will be able to do that at Futons General Store. They do not carry a large variety but will usually offer several labels of both red and white. They also offer snacks so you can enjoy a quiet time in your room if you choose to not be a part of the action of the resort in their public dining areas or lounge.

    Disney does not offer service to have things delivered to your room before you check in. There are too many times when guests ask for room changes for various reasons. Because of this they will not put anything in a room or allow delivery to a room until it is actually occupied by the guest. But it is a short walk to the General Store from any room if you need to purchase something once you have complete the check in process. Enjoy!
