Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    I am staying at Port Orleans Riverside. I have an advance reservation at Chef Mickeys at 0730. What time do the character meal buses start in the mornings, as I know the park buses start an hour before park opening?

    Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

    You are right - the regular Disney Transport buses do start operating an hour before theme park opening - if the Magic Kingdom is scheduled for Extra Magic Hours on the day of your reservation, the buses would start at around 7.00 am, which would probably not allow you enough time as you would then have to transfer to the monorail, or walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  I would advise that you check with front desk at your resort for the most up-to-date information about the Character buses.

    You may wish to take a taxi direct to the Contemporary Resort - Bell Services can organise this for you.
