We are staying at the Port Orleans Resort and have quick service dining. What are the best places to eat for 3 and 6 yr olds who are a little picky eaters???? What would be best parks to go to?? Any other suggestions.

    Hey Andrea!

Sounds like a fun trip already---Port Orleans is a great moderate resort. And I love the dining plan!

As far as best places to eat--are you looking for the best quick service? For picky eaters, I always like buffets because you can always find something to eat! There are lots of character meals that are buffets like Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare. But those are usually table service meals.

Some of my favorite Quick Service meals are The Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary Resort, Columbia Harbor House at Magic Kingdom, Sonshine Seasons at Epcot (TONS of choices!), ABC Commissary at Hollywood Studios and Flame Tree Barbeque at Animal Kingdom. You can look at current menus for all restaurants at allears.net.

How many days of tickets do you have? If you can go to every park, I say go to every park! But if you can only go to a few, I vote for Magic Kingdom first, Animal Kingdom next and then a toss up between Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

I'd suggest you pick up a guide book (I have The Complete Walt Disney World by Julie Neal) and look through it with your girls. You'll get a good idea of the attractions, the parks, the food and more!

If you have any  more specific questions, let me know! I'd love to help!
