We are staying at the Port Orleans resort next month. Question about transportation - can we take the boat to the Magic Kingdom and/or Epcot from our hotel? I see where we can take it to Downtown Disney and a few other resorts, but I wasn't sure what else.

    Hi Carissa,

Disney's Port Orleans Resort is a wonderful one. I was actually just there last month. You will really enjoy the quiet serenity and its southern charm.

You did read correctly that you can take a boat to Downtown Disney. However, in order to get to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom, buses are your only option from that resort if you plan to use the Disney transportation system. If you happen to have a car, you can park at the theme parks for free if staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

    Have a magical stay!
