Staying at port orleans resort Feb 23rd to 26th 2025, purchased a 3 day park pass.1) please confirm we don't need to reserve a park for each day? 2) is the magic kingdom after hours part of our package (feb 24th)?

Hiya, Brad! Welcome to planDisney! Your vacation countdown has begun and before long you’ll be enjoying Mickey-shaped beignets and all the other Mickey-shaped foods you could want! Woo hoo!

If you purchased tickets as part of your vacation package then they are likely date-based tickets and you do not need a theme park reservation. If you are using an annual pass, student or conference group ticket, or Disney Military Salute Ticket, then a theme park reservation is required.

If you’re looking to spend even more time in the magic then Disney After Hours is a great option, but it is not included with your vacation package. It is a special event that requires the purchase of a separate ticket. If you do decide to purchase a ticket, you’ll get to experience the nighttime splendor of the Magic Kingdom with smaller crowds and lower wait times. And remember, while the event starts at 10pm, guests can enter the park at 7pm. That means you can catch the Happily Ever After fireworks show!

Your vacation is off to a great start with a reservation at Port Orleans, Brad. I love both Port Orleans Resort- Riverside and Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter, so you’re in for a good time at either resort. There are so many recreation options, and the live music at Scat Cat’s Club will bring that New Orleans joie d vivre to your trip.

I hope this helps with your vacation planning. Come on back to planDisney if you have any other questions!

    Laissez les bons temps rouler!
