    We are staying at Port Orleans and looking to make reservations for Chef Mickeys on May 20th for Breakfast. Was wondering how early we would be able to take a bus from our resort that morning?

    Hi Scott,

    Normally, buses begin running 1 hour prior to park opening.  Looking at the calendar, Magic Kingdom is scheduled to open at 9:00 a.m. on that day.  You should be able to catch a bus at 8:00 a.m. on that day.  You'll want to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then either walk to the Contemporary or take the monorail.

    If you have an earlier reservation, you might consider taking a taxi.  However, check with your concierge the night before your reservation.  Sometimes buses begin running at earlier hours that may make bus transportation to an early reservation possible - but that is not guaranteed.  To be on the safe side, make your reservation for 8:30 if you plan to use Disney transportation.
