    We will be staying at Port Orleans french quater, I have heard that to get to place to place that WDW transportation isn't very effecient. Will driving ourselves be best, especially as we have a 5 and 2 year old! Thanks

    Hi Arlene,

    The WDW transportation is efficient and its great because its offered at no extra price.  The times we have used the buses they usually come within 10 minutes.  Depending on the time of the day, the buses can be pretty empty or you may find yourself on a full bus having to stand. 

    Saying that, I really dislike waiting for buses and having to deal with taking strollers on and off.  Our family doesn't mind walking and there's a certain comfort in getting in a private car and turning on the radio.  Its also great for taking mid day nap.  Once my 2 year old gets into a car seat, she falls right asleep.   

    I really believe that neither option is significantly faster than the other.  You will however have a lot more control if you bring or rent a car.
