Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ashley. I'm so glad you stopped by with this great question!
It sounds like you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation that will be practically perfect in every way. I just adore a split-stay because it allows my family the opportunity to enjoy two (or more!) Disney Resort hotels in a single vacation! I bet you'll love the New Orleans charm of
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and the proximity of
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom Park.
To answer your question, yes, the complimentary bed rails offered by Disney Resort hotels can be used on the sleeper sofas.
Bed rails and cribs can be requested upon check-in, but quantities are limited, so I recommend making your request before your arrival. Simply call the Reservation line at (407) 939-1936 and a friendly Cast Member there will be happy to make that note on your reservation. I recently read a
helpful tip about bed rails from my fellow panelist, Kari. You may find it useful!
When I'm traveling with a toddler in tow, I'm always sure to pack whatever it is my little one needs for a good night's sleep. This usually includes a special blanket, a "lovey," and a sound machine. After all, a well-rested baby makes for a well-rested mama!
I hope this was helpful, Ashley. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
