Hello - we will be staying at Port Orleans French Quarter, Sept 25 - Oct 1. My husband would like to know if there is a gym/fitness center in either French Quarter or Riverside? If not, where would be the closest place to get in a work-out? Thanks!

    Hi Bridget!

It's always a great idea to keep up your fitness routine while on vacation, and Disney World is one of my favorite places to do just that!

There is not a fitness center in either of the Port Orleans Resorts, but there is one close by at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort.  (there is an amazing spa too!!)  Here is a list of all of the fitness centers and spas on Walt Disney World property.    Usually, there is a $12.00 fee for a guest to use a gym if they are not staying at that resort.

If your husband likes to run, your resort area has some beautiful running trails that he could use for free.  Visit this link to see a map of the trails.  You would want to look at the "Downtown Disney Area and More" maps.  You can also get trail maps at your resort's front desk.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions, and have a great trip!!
