    We are staying at the port Orleans french quarter resort for our first Disney trip all together. We have dinner reservations at whispering canyons at 5:35pm. How long will it take to get to whispering canyons from Magic Kingdom using Disney transportation

    Hi Benjamin!

    Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge is a great family restaurant.  My family always has a fantastic time there.

    From the Magic Kingdom, you can take a boat directly to the Wilderness Lodge.  Just walk out to the boat dock between the monorail station and the dock for the ferry that takes you to the Transportation and Ticket Center.  There will be a boat just for the Wilderness Lodge.

    I would plan on 30 minutes tops from Main Street to the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  That includes walking out of the Magic Kingdom, waiting for the boat, making the journey, and walking from the Wilderness Lodge boat dock to the Whispering Canyon Cafe.

    Be sure to ask for ketchup or a large drink once you are there!  If you're really bold, wear a shirt from a non-Disney theme park.  You'll find out why!
