    We are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter July 4th and are planning to take the river boat to Disney Springs for our dinner reservations at 6.15 pm at Morimoto Asia. Can you tell me how long the boat ride is to Disney Springs?

    Welcome back! For this visit, you have chosen one of my favorite moderate resorts. I love the theme of Port Orleans French Quarter and its intimate size. Plus, you are just a water taxi away from all the great shopping, dining and entertainment at Disney Springs.

    The actual boat ride takes about 20 minutes, but I always like to allow an hour for travel time to a dining reservation. You may have to wait a few minutes for a boat to arrive, and you need to allow boarding time. Plus, you don't want to feel rushed on your way to the restaurant.

    My family loves Morimoto Asia! Even when we aren't at Walt Disney World, we crave the tuna pizza appetizer. We're big fans of the dim sum items, the sushi, the ramen and the churro fondue dessert. I'm hungry just thinking about it!
