Hi! I am staying at Port Orleans French Quarter (FAVORITE moderate) in late November & was planning on resort hopping to see the holiday decorations at each of the Disney resorts. Will they be completed by then? Thank you!

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Monica!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we can't wait to help you plan your upcoming trip to Disney World! It looks like you will be arriving in late November, so it's about time to start your countdown. Oh, and by the time you arrive, the theme parks will be sparkling with holiday lights, towering Christmas trees, and festive touches that make every corner feel merry and bright. From the joyful music on Main Street, U.S.A., to the breathtaking holiday parades and fireworks, you’ll be wrapped in the wonder of the season from the moment you walk in.

I have to say that I also love Port Orleans - French Quarter! This resort is truly a hidden gem. With its charming cobblestone streets and jazzy New Orleans vibe, it feels like you’ve stepped straight into the heart of the French Quarter. The resort is cozy and easy to navigate, making it one of the most relaxing and laid-back places to stay. Plus, where else can you enjoy fresh Mickey-shaped beignets just steps from your room?

So, are you ready for some MAGICAL news? I am very excited to share with you that by the time of your trip, Mickey will have already waved his holiday wand across the resorts, and the decorations are usually entirely in place by mid-November. You’ll be able to stroll through the lobbies, sip some hot cocoa, and marvel at all the unique touches each resort brings to the season.

The deluxe resorts are especially spectacular! I especially love the massive tree at Wilderness Lodge, and the sparkling elegance of the Contemporary. Even the moderate and value resorts join in the fun with festive trees, garlands, and plenty of merry details that make resort hopping feel like a holiday adventure all on its own.

The best part is that exploring the resorts doesn’t require a park ticket, so you can take your time, wander at your own pace, and let the holiday MAGIC wrap around you like a warm winter blanket. Whether you’re admiring a Christmas tree, listening to cheerful holiday music, or simply soaking in the glow of twinkling lights, you’ll be making memories that sparkle brighter than Cinderella Castle at night.

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
