I am staying at Port Orleans French Quarter for 11 days in September. On three of those days, four family members will be joining me in the parks. They will be staying offsite. If they pick me up, will we be able to park for free using my MagicBand?

Hello Andrea! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

One of my favorite benefits as a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder and when staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel is the complimentary parking when visiting Theme Parks in my own vehicle.

Whenever I redeemed this benefit at the parking gates of any of the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, I was in the driver's seat and presented my MagicBand or Annual Pass before being ushered through. If you are not driving Andrea, I recommend that you sit in the front seat or have close access to the Cast Member at the ticket booth to be able to present valid Disney Resort hotel identification to enter the parking lots.

The benefit is a reward for those Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Since you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and are in the vehicle, you should have no problem in utilizing the complimentary parking benefit.

Remember to take advantage of other benefits afforded to Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, such as Extra Magic Hours to enjoy attractions before or after regularly scheduled Theme Park operating hours. Unfortunately, the family members joining you from offsite will not be able to enjoy these benefits.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
