    We're staying at Port Orleans FQ, and want to rent a car for a few days before our Disney cruise. (we'll rent a car for Sat/Sun, and drive to Port Canavarel on Mon, where we'll drop off the car.) What's the simplest way to do this?

    Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is so beautiful. You'll be a water taxi ride away from Disney Springs, too! You're planning such a great vacation starting the fun off by staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. My family tries to arrive a day or two before our Disney Cruise sets sail as often as possible. This alleviates the worry of our flight getting delayed morning-of and us missing the cruise!

    In my opinion, the easiest way to rent a car would be to rent one from the Orlando International Airport the day you fly in and drive it to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarters. Then, you'll have the rental car for the weekend of your visit to Orlando! On embarkation day, you and your family can drive the rental car to a rental car agency near Port Canaveral and drop it off. (Double check that the car rental facility offers shuttle services to Port Canaveral after dropping off your car.) After that, it's smooth sailing as you check in for your Disney Cruise!

    One of the most magical moments before any of our cruises is the first time we see our beautiful ship as we are driving in to Port Canaveral. I can't wait for you to experience that moment, too!
