We are staying at Port Orleans FQ in March & have 5 pm reservations at the HoopDeeDo Review on the day we check in to the resort. What is the best way to get there from the resort? And will we have time to go to the Chip and Dale campfire afterward?

    Hi Joan!

We love, love, love the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort!  You have such an amazingly exciting first night planned - couldn't have done it better myself!  From your resort, you will need to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then hop on the boat headed for the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.  Not including the time spent waiting on your bus and boat to arrive, the trip will take about 40 minutes.  I would plan on arriving about 30 minutes early - some would say 45 minutes, but honestly that is really early.  If you have time to kill, there is tons to explore!

After you have stuffed yourselves silly and busted a gut from laughing, you will be walking out the doors around 6:20 PM.  This gives you more than enough time to stroll over to the Meadow Trading Post and pick up some supplies for roasting S'mores at Chip n' Dale's campfire.  Everything kicks off around 7:00 PM and you can even bring your own marshmallows and fixings if you prefer.  After the singlong, enjoy a classic Disney movie under the stars - perfection!

    Much pixie dust,
