    HI, We are staying at Port Orleans FQ end of May for 2 weeks, and would ideally like to be close to the boat pick up/drop off to downtown. Do you know which block this would be and would we be able to request this block and a particular floor before we go?

    Hi Rod,

    Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have stayed at this hotel for only 3 nights, four years ago, and it was great. However, I never use the boat transportation to Downtown area. According to the map, the better option for you is building number 2. You should visit Touring Plans because they have a very informative description about hotels; they even suggest room numbers with better views. After decide exactly where do you want to stay, you should call Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter,  and make your reservations by phone. That way, you can specifically ask for what you want and I’m sure that the Cast Members hotels are going to do their best to please you and your family.
