I will be staying at the Port Orleans during Jan. 13th, the National Championship, we cannot get a reservation at the ESPN Club to view it so was wondering if the hotels would be playing the game? Thanks!

    Hi Stephen!

Okay, I simply must know which team you'll be chEARing on: the Tigers, or the Tigers? (Ha!)

My husband is a total sports fanatic too, so I completely understand not wanting to miss a moment of the last game of the season, even when you're at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Luckily Mickey and Minnie love a good scrimmage and have both our families covered. In fact, you might actually have trouble trying to narrow down where you'd like to go!

Of Disney's two sister Port Orleans Resort hotels, the poolside bar 'Mardi Grogs' at French Quarter does have two TVs. If your family will also not be in the parks during this game, this space is adjacent to both a playground and a heated pool that guests of both Port Orleans Resort hotels are invited to enjoy. I will say that this is a pretty intimate location with limited seating, and that there are much bigger TVs elsewhere.

If you'd like to go somewhere with a similar vibe as the ESPN Club, check out Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Disney Springs. Bowling is completely optional as you're more than welcome to hang out in one of the five lounge areas. You can also make a reservation for one of their seated tables, but you might want to get there early to ensure a table near a TV.

If you'd like to sneak away while your crew has fun in one of Disney's Theme Parks, but you don't want to be too far away, Banana Cabana at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is connected to both Disney's Hollywood Studios as well as Epcot thanks to the brand new Disney Skyliner. Or, if you'll be leaving from Magic Kingdom Park, check out either (or both!) Territory Lounge as well as Geyser Point both at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort. Both are very relaxing spaces, the first with a 'Lodge' feel while the other is an open-air dockside den.

I hope one of these spaces will be a real touch down for you, Stephen, and We'll See You Real Soon!

    P.S. Go Tigers!
