    We will be staying at Port Orleans this coming Feb 2020. Are the pools heated there if the kids wanted to go for a swim?

    Hey there, Ashley! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. 

    I am excited to know that you will be staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. I have stayed at both Riverside and French Quarter and have enjoyed both immensely. I think you'll be happy to know that all of the pools at Walt Disney World are heated to a perfect 82 degrees all year long. I vacation at Walt Disney World every Christmas and one of my favorite things to do is take a splash in the pool on Christmas Day! Your kids will most certainly have a great time swimming in the Florida sun, even in February! If you'd like to take a dip too, I think you might like to know that there is also a hot tub at the resort you're staying at to warm you back up after swimming with your kids!

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
