We are staying at the Port Orleans-Riverside, March 26-30. My wife has medication that needs to be refrigerated. Can WDW provide me with a small refrigerator to store the medication?

Hello Ronald! Welcome to planDisney! I can certainly appreciate your question. I’m glad you sent it to us!

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside is a great place to call your “Disney home.” I love walking/jogging along the Sassagoula River and taking in the large trees with beautiful Spanish moss! You’re really going to enjoy this relaxing resort!

I’m happy to share that all Guest rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside offer in-room beverage coolers. They are like mini-refrigerators and should meet the need to keep medication at refrigerated temperatures. You do not need to request one for your room. They come in all Guest rooms. My research indicates that the in-room beverage coolers stay at around 41 degrees. They are not huge, but they have always met the needs of my family of five. I have kept drinks, yogurt, fruit, and even leftover meals in the in-room fridge. All with good results!

Ronald, keep sending us questions as you continue planning your Disney World vacation! We’re here to help with all your planning needs!

    Dreams do come true!
