We are staying in PORS from8/19-8/25 family of 5. We would like to be centrally located. Are there any royal rms that can accomodate 5 ppl or updated decor? We stayed at GF our last 2 trips so this will definetly be an adjustment. Thanks for your time.

Unfortunately, Donna, the royal rooms at Port Orleans Riverside do not accommodate a party of five.  Parties of five are accommodated in the Alligator Bayou section of the resort, where rustic charm meets down-home dixie.  You are correct in that the theming at Port Orleans Riverside will be quite different than that of the Grand Floridian.  Rest assured, though, that the grounds are gorgeous.  The Sassagoula River creates a peaceful and serene backdrop for the manicured lawns and lush foliage.  If you have spare time, be sure to check out Yeeha Bob in the River Roost Lounge; he is an absolute genius when it comes to entertaining folks of all ages.  Enjoy your stay!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
