Hi! We are staying at PORS and have ADR at Chef Mickey's @ 7am and then want to spend the day at Hollywood Studios. What would be the suggested travel plan? Should we drive and park or use Disney Transportation? Thanks!

    Hi Kristie!

With that early of a dining reservation at Chef Mickey's, I suggest just driving from Port Orleans Riverside to the Contemporary Resort.  Just bring your confirmation number with you; you might need it when you approach the security shack at the Contemporary Resort's parking lot.

If it is a busy time of the year, you might be given a limited parking pass that is only good for a couple of hours.  Thus you will have to leave the Contemporary after breakfast.  However, if it is not too busy, you might be able to leave the car there while you take the monorail to and from the Magic Kingdom, assuming that is the theme park you want to visit that day.  If it is not, then just drive to wherever you are going.

By the way, with the exception of the Magic Kingdom, driving a car is the fastest way to get around Walt Disney World.  Disney makes it very easy to drive around property with lots of signs; it is pretty hard to get lost.

I hope this helps!  Chef Mickey's is a great way to start the day!  Please write back with more questions!
