    Staying at PO-Riverside. After spending the day (Feb. 15) at Animal Kingdom, we have dinner at Whispering Canyon at 5:20pm. What is the best way to get to Whispering Canyon from AK and then back to POR. What time do we need to leave AK to be on time?

    Just a few weeks until your vacation.  You must be getting so excited!  I'm excited for you - Whispering Canyon is one of my very favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World!

    From Animal Kingdom, plan to be at the bus stop one hour prior to your dining reservation.  Take the bus directly to the Wilderness Lodge.  Whispering Canyon is just inside the lobby of the resort.  Check-in at the podium, and if you are a few minutes early, take time to wander around the beautiful lobby.

    For your return to Port Orleans, take the bus or the boat from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom.  At the Magic Kingdom, you can hop on a bus back to your resort.   If you want the more adventurous route, from Wilderness Lodge, take the bus to Downtown Disney.  From there, you can catch a boat back to Port Orleans.  It might take a few minutes longer, but you can have some fun in Downtown Disney before returning to your resort for the evening.
