    Staying at POR. What time should we be at the bus stop in the mornings in order to make it to the theme parks by opening time? Don't want to be too early though. Traveling 09/10-09/20. thx!

    Port Orleans Riverside is such a beautiful resort to stay in! I think you made a great choice for accommodations!

    If you want to make it out to the Walt Disney World Themeparks from a resort taking Disney's transportation system, it's always best to err on the side of getting there a little earlier that usual. The typical bus trip from Port Orleans isn't what is going to slow you down, it's waiting on transportation and then walking to and from. If the park opens at nine, a good time to get to the loading area is 7:45 am. IF you want to be one of the first ones through the gate, then I would leave a little earlier. If you just want to get there as the park opens, 7:45 am  should be fine. Make sure to double check the hours of operation since the parks offer "Extra Magic Hours" benefits to Disney Resort guests. That means the parks could be open earlier than you anticipated and would mean leaving even earlier to make it for park opening.
