    we are staying at POR at thr beginning of March and we are trying to make dining reservations, but everytime we log in and hit "make dining reservations" nothing happens, do I have to adjust any settings on my computer or is the site having probl

    I just tried--equally unsuccessfully--to open the dining reservations page on Disney's site, Jennifer.  It's hard to say what the issue might be right now.  You might consider trying to open the page with a different browser (Internet Explorer, for example, as opposed to Firefox).  If you still don't have any luck, you can always call to book your dining reservations.  Doing so would not be a bad idea, since your trip is less than four months away.  You can reach Disney dining by calling 407-WDW-DINE.  Good luck scoring all of the reservations you're hoping for!
