Staying at POR with res at DT BBB @ 11:20 and lunch res @ Akershus @ 1:40; what is my best transportation option? (or should I just taxi from DT to Epcot?) Thanks!

    Hello Karen!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort.  From the Downtown Disney area to Epcot Theme Park, you certainly can hire a taxi cab if you end up being pressed for time.  I would suggest leaving Downtown Disney around noon to be sure you have enough time for check-in at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall by 1:30pm.  Another good option would be to hop on a bus headed for the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel.  From there, you can take a boat to the back entrance of Epcot Theme Park.  You can also walk there.  Once inside the International Gateway entrance of Epcot, walk counterclockwise to the Norway Pavilion.  Not including waiting for transportation, that journey is about a half hour.  Please be aware that depending on your walking pace, as well as potential wait time for transportation, you need to allow that extra time I suggested.

Whatever you decide, I wish you a truly magical vacation!
