Staying at POR and I read that the bathroom has pedastal sinks and no counter tops. Is there shelves to put your toiletries on. I keep reading to get an over the door organizer, but no room in luggage!

Hi Georgia! You are correct, some of the rooms at Port Orleans do have pedestal sinks but they also have a shelf that spans across the two sinks so you will have some counter space.  Some of the rooms have been recently refurbished and based on the pictures I've seen, there are now counter tops included with the sinks, in addition to the shelf.

I also think it's a good idea to bring a personal organizer when traveling (not just to Disney but anywhere).  It's a great way to keep your toiletries organized.  I tend to hang mine on a towel rack vs. a door.  They really aren't that big when they are folded up.  If you'd like to see a sample of the one I have, you can go to LL Bean's site and click search on "personal organizer."  This will give you an idea of the size, etc.

Enjoy Port Orleans!  It's my favorite moderate resort.  Diane
