Staying at POR. Is it quicker to travel to other resorts by taking the boat to Downtown Disney and hopping a bus from there are going through the Ticket Transprotation Center?

    Arthur:

I have found that taking a bus from POR to a theme park and then transferring to a resort bus is usually the quickest way to travel between resorts--and the easiest on the feet.  Depending on the time of day you're traveling can also add time to a boat trip to Downtown Disney as they run less frequently during the day and make stops at its sister resort Port Orleans: French Quarter.  In addition, once the boat docks at Downtown Disney, the resort bus stop is quite a walk from the pier.

Without knowing a specific resort, I hesitate to give you a blanket suggestion.  I'd recommend you checking out the Transport Wizard found at the bottom of the home page of www.ourlaughingplace.com. It gives recommendations--and times--of routes from one resort to the other at Disney.  It may give you your best route!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
